Himanya Singh is the founder and creative force behind Firni. A textile designer by training from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Mumbai, and fashion business graduate from Parsons New York, she returned to India with a vision: to create a brand that merges her love for clean design with the beauty of Indian craftsmanship.
Raised in a household immersed in fabric, printing, and production, her relationship with textiles runs deep. From sketching on scraps in her mother’s workshop to working with artisans across India, she has always found magic in the handmade. With Firni, Himanya brings this legacy to life by thoughtfully designing each piece to feel familiar yet elevated, minimal yet rich in detail.
